Chic - casually elegant.
In our increasingly casual society, I understand that it can be hard to dress 'elegantly'. Thus, I'm looking for examples of casual elegance, which I thought this picture This is Glamorous is rather fitting. Unfortunately, we can't live in little ironed dresses all the time.
Who do I think is the epitome of CHIC?
She is Ines de la Fressange for me.
She is who I want to grow into.
And the best part is, she has recently released a book!
Which of course, I'm reading (or rather flipping) through now. I've been working on an CHIC article for elegantwoman.org, apart from endlessly trying to get my 2nd book ready for the printers. No one told me how tedious it was to publish a book. Hmmmm.
