Hello 2011!

Happy New Year everybody!

I'm looking forward to this brand new year. There's always something special about newness. It's fresh, it's exciting and you feel as though you've got an opportunity to start over.

I've been spending lots of time with my family and friends, especially those who are only here with us for a short period of time. As a result, I've been entertaining a lot! Strangely, I love taking out all my stuff in the kitchen out to play... my wine glasses, plates and bowls etc. I feel six years old all over again, when I threw tea parties for my Teddy bears.

And of course, parties are always fun. Here is a photo of Colin and I at a New Year Eve's countdown party.

What exciting plans have you got this year?

:)

Personally, I hope we can make it to our honeymoon! We cancelled it last year, because Colin had an amazing business opportunity. He recently appeared on the news in a short interview and in the papers, and even though it's just a small section of it, I was very proud of him.

As for myself, I hope to get back to the piano, read more and continue to work on my projects. Although it seems that I have more on my plate than I used to, I want peace in my life. I know it may sound strange, but if anything that overwhelms me and stresses me out, I don't think it's good for me. I have to say no to certain things, for instance, looking at my Blackberry every spare minute (and not at the dinner table!) or trying to please everyone by replying to every email etc.

I believe the 80/20 rule. Only 20 percent of the things are important and the trick is to cut down the 80 and focus all your energies on the 20.

I also want to eat better and be fit and supple.

And as for elegantwoman.org, I will be continuing to expand on various topics in greater detail, now that I've gotten the basics out of the way (over the last two years).

Can't wait to journey along this year with all of you!
xoxo
